In the period November 17 – 20, 2011, at IEC MOLDEXPO was held the 11th edition of BLACK SEA LETEX - the International Specialized Exhibition of goods, equipment and raw materials for the light industry - the sole specialized business forum for this branch in Moldova.

At the official opening of the exhibition, Mr Octavian CALMÎC, vice-Minister of Economy of the Republic of Moldova, congratulated the participants and organizers with the opening of the most beautiful event of the exhibitional year. He further stressed the fact that the exhibition is important for the promotion of Moldova's image, and also as a means to boost competitiveness in the branch, to widen the assortment of domestic production, to increase export volumes, attracting investments for the development of the industry. Valentina Radcenco, founder of the ARTPODIUM Cultural Foundation, revealed that BLACK SEA LETEX is actually the sole project in Moldova offering the fashion-designers – young as well as renowned – the unique possibility to present their collections live.
